Kazakhstan

It was hard for me to imagine what Kazakhstan would be like. I learned the facts, it is the six largest country in the world with a relatively small population. It was part of the Soviet Union and still uses the Russian language next to Kazakh and Uzbek. It is also a rich country with Oil and Gas reserves. Once there the size becomes apparent and the large cities and squares are often oversized and can feel empty at times. The people are friendly and chatty and were not hampered by the fact that I cannot speak any of their languages.
